Ruby Lips Pouting is a large and richly coloured ruby lips painting, with slathers of thick acrylic paint.
Painted on gallery stretched canvas, and finished with acrylic and varnish, this large painting is stunning at 1500mm x 1000mm.
The original is privately owned by the artist and has never been offered for sale.
I often refer to this one as just Ruby Lips as it has become part of my home.
Painted in 2007 and has been exhibited several times since then in the Brisbane/Ipswich area of Queensland, and is one of a series of Lips and Faces paintings by artist Paul Gleave.
